BreakFree Youth Fest :)

hello hello! short update on my dance crew! <3

anyhow, we were invited by the BreakFree event that has been so hot the last Sat :)

so we performed the exact same dance we did for the Borneo Street Damce comp.

not enough time to choreograph a whole new dance, you see? :)

ohh, Teresa went in for Munie as it was her birthday that very day! :D

a big birthday shoutout to MUNIE <3 hope you had a blast!

anyways, getting back onto the main subject..

i'm quite sure you've heard of it :) i didn't go to the events cause i'll

only be performing there. :) so back to danceee,

tada. the stage looks big from the picture but believe me, it was super small! D:

*crys and wails in depression* okay. enough of that. *laughs*

all i can say is we expected it to be bigger. that's all. but hey,

the show must go on. but omg it was raining and it was delayed an hour.

ohmywhatthebbqsauce! haha. but hey, we made it. and i know

i kicked lots of the stuff on stage.. accidently! Nevermind, it'll somehow 

remind them to give dancers a BIGGER stage next time! :)

they invited our crew into a private commitee's lounge to put our stuff and rest

while we were waiting for our turn to perform :) aww. so nice of them :)

well, we took the honour upon us immediatly! hehe. 

what? there was air con, sofas, clean toilet!, and mirrors hehe.

we took some pictures. and camwhored here and there. and practiced, of course!

soon it was out turn :) pictures!

tada!  end of dance. i think we did okay. although of slight mistakes. whoops!

but overall yeah :) the rest went clubbing to celebrate Munie's birthday,

but sadly i am underage so i be a good girl and go home :(

dammit. kinda regret it now? haha. ohwells. there are other times i'm sure :)

note: clubbing's not a bad thing, with the RIGHT crowd!

ohh and dance is our arts-stream. please do not discriminate us as strip dancers

and anything to do with all this false accuses. thank you. Respect is the word.

ohh did i mention? we have our own Vanity Crew page :) please like it 

if you like dancing and enjoy our performances and so on! :)

to see the number increasing drastically fast is a very happy thing to us :)

i think that's about it? hmm. been practicing less this week. damn.

Borneo Street Dance Competition 2011

helloo bloggers! Remember that i mentioned the Borneo Street Dance competition?

well, it was held yesterdayy :D *pic of stage by Linus*

thanks for supporting me and the crew guys. esp- boyfie, Gabby, Ivory, Abigail,
Linus, Sam, Nai Thong, Dylan and my family. thanks so much guys. :)

and to the rest who said they would come, screw you. it meant alot to me.

even the people who are not thaat close to me came. pffts. so much for support.

the hell, you guys didnt even text me at all. !@#$%^&^%$#$%((()(*&$^$!@

anyways, i shall not spoil  my mood. just saying my mind. 

now, flashback a few nights before the competition! *drumrolls and magic wands*

Last Friday night we practiced at the studio and went to Spring for

stage rehearsal. and omg, we were shocked to see the stage ROUND,

only HALF-wooded and BIG decorative ornament on it. aduhai. *above pic*

we drew second. which means we had to compete 2nd outta 17 groups?

which i thought was a good thing. we didnt have to wait for too long.

we rehearsed till almost midnight.and i got lost trying to find a way out of spring.

-.-"every pathway i took was blocked with the shutter thingy. -.-

On Saturday we had a little trouble with the costume ripping :/

and we practised till midnight. and the next morning before competition too :O

can you imagine how beat out we were already? oh gosh.

we met back at the studio at 11.30 and did our make up and final touches.

then boom, spring it was.

i could feel that chill running up my spine. i prayed so hard LOL.

the crowd went wild when we did that and they screamed so loud,

i honestly could not hear the music at all. haha. thats a GOOD thing! :D

 so did we win? *drumrolls* no. we didnt win.
we even knew the results before they were announced.

we got certificates though. but still. what a disappointment.
instead of staying back later for photoshoot we all just went off. no point

we sacrificed time, energy, sweat, cuts, bruises, pains, money and more.

for this competition. We were all kinda pissed though. 

it was not really a fair judgement. We could have gotten at least 3rd place.

we were so sure of it. and yet they gave it all to the guy groups and

crews whose names were much for popular in society nowadays.

If that was the point you might as well judge us on our crew names
and not our dancing. i mean, come on man. 

i just wish you guys could have been more fair. but whatever,

we did our best and we gained experience. One day, we'll be back.
