Dipped dye shorts.

Obesssion at the moment. Can't wait to try and diy these awesome,
DIP DYED DENIM SHORTS! For those who know me quite well, i kinda
dislike wearing jeans especially in my country because the weather is damn hot here and
because i think i look better in shorts lol. Anyways, i've been craving for fashionable
shorts for so long but it's almost impossible to find nice ones in my budget or
in my country. Time to spam you with awesome pictures of dip dyed shorts. :D

Love these colourful shorts too. i wish to have one of every colour lol. And i've been surfing through
youtube videos and such to find out if it's possible to make them diy for dip dye.
Turns out to be quite easy! All you need are bleach, fabric dye and a pair of scissors! :D
I shall cut up my unusable jeans and try to make a pair this hols after my exams.

For more info on how to dip dye or the many ways to do so, click HERE!
i shall go dream about my shorts LOL. What's your current obsession? :)

BBQ @ Matang Family Park.

Hi! Soo, it was a public holiday last Tuesday and the start of the month of May! :D
so, the youth decided to go to Matang Family Park for barbeque and just to have fun.
Public holiday or not, i still had to wake up early. Sighh. oh well.
We were put into groups of three and had to marinate and bring our bbq-pieces.
It was kinda like a competition thing but then again, no winner was announced LOL.
i think everyone was too wiped out to even remember by the end of the day. teehee.
DOESN'T MATTER, HAD GOOD FOOD! (Y) so, anyway....

We gathered at the church and it took us about 45minutes to get to our destination. Hmm.
There were already many people there! Lucky for us the boys (Linus, Howard, Dylan, Sam)
went up much earlier to grab a bbq-ing spot for us. Yayy! We had to pay a small entry fee.
For adults it's Rm3/- and for us teenagers it's Rm2/-. Very affordable :)

This is the whole of the lot :D we got the whole space as above. So groups had to take turns :)
so glad to bump into Molaris ( i call him Mo) that day too! It's been a while.
Turns out he was having fun with his own group just opposite us too.

Let the barbeque-ing begin! Yes, i felt the heat. It was a freaking hot day! -__-

Howard loves to decorate his plate. Look! The sausage is like, standing LOL.

Me and Dylan panggang-ing and roasting from the heat.

Oh oh, did i mention? There were tons of insects there. Omg. I hate insects btw -.-
Not that i'm afraid of them, it's just that everything in the wildlife is trippled the size.
and plus, there were gazillions of bluebottles (flies, eww), weird looking caterpillars
and annoying ants of all sorts and sizes. YUCK. I AM TRAUMATIZED.
Especially by the flies. There were so many of them. Eww, gross, yuck!

ANYWAY, (sorry for ruining your appetite tho, lol)..

So, this is what my group came up with. I've gotta say, i like my group's plate LOL.
Partly cause Dylan marinted his lamb with X.O and my popo did her magic, so yeah.
teehee, the other boy(i forgot his name) contirbuted huge wings too :D

Other groups.

So the judges were our youth leaders and they acted all professional and stuff,
It was quite and amusing sight to see. haha. Well, it was already way past noon when everything
was done and we dug into the food. Literally. Partly cause i didnt have much breakfast
and cause i was tired from the bbq and crazy hot weather.

The guys cooled off in the stream nearby until late afternoon. LOL. In my opinion,
i wouldn't even go down there for a dip since i think the water is dirty. To me.
And also i didn't want to get wet and cause i had a monthly guest with me :)
But they enjoyed it so yeahh. There were so many people btw :O

and Finally, a group picture! Left the place at around 4pm. I was exhausted to the max.
However, received a last minute call to go to some place.(forgot the name)
Since it was on the way, we did. (some of us only- most went home dy). We saw fishermen
selling their catch. Some of the freshest i've ever seen. There were a few people buying
seafood from them too. I just came down and enjoyed the view.
Reached home around 5pm? Glad to be the first one to go home. Was wiped out.
Had a very eventful day. Woohoo, wow, Fantastic baby! <3

Ending this post with a picture i like taken by Howard while others
were looking at fresh seafood. xxx

MRC Dancing competition.

*the only camwhore shot i took that day LOL*

It was finally April 14th 2012! The day we, Vanity girls have been waiting for.
The Together For Humanity dancing competition organized by the Malaysian Red
Cresent organization (MRC). For charity and for dance lovers! :D
Good luck texts and comments from lovely people have been flowing in, thank you <3
Had my hair done by Blade Saloon and also some retouching from my mum's crew-mate!
*i had a long time untangling the back-combed hair as well as washing off the spray!
i also lost a lot of hair and suffered a lot of pain by hair tugging and brushing -.-*

Went to The Spring to register before getting a bite. But heck, we were too nervous
to even eat properly. I finished my food because i eat when i'm nervous.
Aiya, i anytime also eat one la. Like how i would describe myself sometimes, SUCH A PIG!
So, we finally did it and.. nothing. Just nothing. We didn't win. Heck, we didn't even get runner-up.
Although i enjoyed myself on the stage that day, i have a few things to rant and to clarify.

Firstly, our turn was delayed 5 hours. 5 HOURS, i tell you! WAH, i could watch 2 movies!!
Secondly, the organizing crew were so disorganized and timing and categories got
mixed up. And NO, THAT WAS NOT COOL, BRO. Because traditional category won
in the category my crew and I participated in which was hip hop & contemporary.
Like hell, it is not okay to organize a dance competition and split them into categories
when you yourself have no dance knowledge yet any professional judges.
Thirdly, judges. The judges only take care of their own. That's why most of the winnings
go to ballet and traditional as the judges came from Layna Ballet and others. can
you be more professional please? Or are you guys just to uneducated?! WAH. t(-.-t)

Just for clarification, i'm not being a sore loser okay? I do not believe i am not better than
the champion for this competition. Because i know, we are better. WAYY BETTER.
And i know traditional and street dance are two completely different types of dance,
even the more why they shouldn't be placed together in the category, no?
I just think my crew and I deserve a say in this. All these are so ridiculous.

HOWEVER, while we were standing in a circle holding hands, i felt calm *nervous, yes*,
but i was comforted by my crew and was glad we could share the feelings together.
Aiyer, i feel very geli and over-romantic now LOL. anyway, YEAH.
We are a crew after all, and we went through a lot throughout the whole time
preparing for this competition. Damn it took the energy, body aches, time, money and
many many sacrifices. We hurt, we were in foul moods but we pulled through.
And through this i'm happy, cause we came out together with a stronger bond! <3
and and for the record, we got pretty good applause! *proud* The crowd loved us,
i mean, our show we put on for them. teehee. When announcing names of the winners,
they were even calling out,"Vanity! Vanity!" this proves something, no? :D

YES, I LOVE MY VANITY CREW! ^__^v

Besides that, thank God for my extremely lovely friend, Gabby-Gabuu who stayed with me
whole afternoon and finally taking the video of my crew and I dancing on stage. xxx
Mad love for you, my friend! xxx. Picture of me and her above. Do you like my poofed hair?
It made heads turn okay. Imagine this. Five girls walking into a shopping mall
with their hair looking as if they never combed it in years wearing varsity jackets.
The looks we got were real bewildered looks. teehee! :D

Anyways, catch the VIDEO here! At the same time, like our PAGE!! Thanks for all
your support and love for us that day. We really appreciate it :) <3

or you can watch it here too :D

This was us at the studio the night just before the competition.
Damn, i tell you the nerves were already kicking up then. Pheww~

The only picture of us we took that day. Taken by our manager, Kixx. *he made me look fat -.-*
Well, supposedly we had a photographer. But since the crowd was fierce that day,
he couldn't find us and we never bumped into him too. So that explains the little photos.
However, if you're reading this and have some photos of us, do tell me!! Much love! xx :D

This was us after the 4 minute dance routine. Exhausted, yes. Happy and vain, VERY! :D
we actually enjoyed being on the stage and just dancing for the crowd! :)
Headed for pizza after that. Needed to pay back for the diets and sit ups and planking
we did to get a flat tummy for the competition LOL. But hey, who would want
to go on stage, eyes of the crowd on you and.. your big, flabby tummy? RIGHT? ^__^v

Just one photo of us on stage :) xx *blur*

Again, we were glad to join although we beh gam guan with many things. But we reckon we'd
be happy about the publicity for our crew, the applause, the crowd, the experience and
also to help as an act of charity! (Y) AND again, thank you for your mad love and support for us!

P.s- Last participation with the crew till my SPM is over. Sucks to be me, eh? >:(

Pupa Puposka Collection.

Today's blog post is about make-up! So i received a lovely surprise from my
aunt who bought Pupa Puposka make-up kits for me! It was too cute, she said.
so she ordered it straight from France, or Canada for me. *i cant remember lol*
you can look them up online. It's quite a popular brand. i think? :)

so anywayy, these Pupa collections are separated in three different sizes.
like stated above for you to see :D different sizes contain different make up parts.
the bigger the size of the Puposka, the more parts of makeup you have :)

one of their special edition Pupa Puposka set. Small, medium and big.
i personally like this one! teehee. there are many other designs too! :D
they remind me of Russian dolls. lol.

TADA! Here is the two small sets i got from my aunt :D
they look so adorable right?! apparently the small make-up Pupa kits only
contain compact eyeshadow and glitter-packed cream lip colour.
If you buy the whole set which includes all three sizes of the Pupa,
it will contain thirteen make up stuff from compact blusher to eyeshadow applicator.

first small make-up kit set! a more brown-neutral colour :)

here, the face is a mirror! cute or not?! :D
This is my second set. More feminine colours to spice up your eyes and lips.

i don't have any idea at which site my aunt ordered these cute kits for me,
but you can go and search them up in google. teehee. Thanks for reading! xxx

Vanity!

Vanity Crew is back in action! teehee. performed a flashmob and the
always-requested-Borneo-Competition dance at the Chartis CEO Forum :)
this was the shirt we had to wear that night -.- with black jeans. and sneakers.
thank god we didnt have to wear heels! we performed at Pullman Hotel, at
the Poolside Lounge. the rehearsal drained out of energy and spirits to dance.
they didnt respect us as dancers. they were so rude and so on.
but we managed to pull through. and i think we did quite well too! :D

all credits to our late night practices and such supporting audience that night! :D
they cheered and responded in a very encouraging way. thank you! <3
this is us girls camwhoring while waiting to perform the second dance :)

i had to go to studio the next day at 4.30 to learn the competition dance,
since i missed out so many parts. and hallelujah i learnt the whole thing already!
and now, my hand muscles hurt! so boyfie, i need massaging here! <3 just kidding!

this is us! *teresa, whai you not in this collage?!*
ohhh thank you to Ashley(girl in purple) who filled in the empty spot for us :)
they wanted seven dancers that night and we only had six so yeah.
she used to dance at Cherry's class. support Street Shock Dance Studio! come
and join the classes to have fun and to keep fit! <3 <3

after the gig that night, went to Mcd and ate our oh-so-late dinner :)
Kixx treated us since we had such a tiring and a little frustrating day :D
Thank you Kixx! although to Teresa and my depression, no twister fries! :(
ahha but still it felt good to eat our so-badly-craved mcd!~ <3

did a bit of shopping the next day after my Normah appointment.ohh,
turns out the rashes and alergies on my skin were caused by my immune system.
it's far too sensitive and would react to the slightest thing including dust.
which will make me scratch and have reactions. hmm. currently taking medication
to soothe the allergies and keep the imbalanced cells under control. #sien.

went to Boulevard after that to shop for my reference books and stuff.
there was such a crowd at Popular bookstore! :O everybody kiasu already!

went to get some of my daily needs too. a comb which i hope not to lose anymore -.-
rubber bands! and some lip balm. i love this cause it has such a sweet-smelling berry
scent to it. mmhhm :) which reminds me, i need to go the Sasa which just recently
opened at Spring to get my falsies, double eyelid tape, eyeliner and other cosmestics.
need them for performances and other vain purposes. ahaha! :D

guess i'm done with this post. school is tomorrow. exam is in a week. #shit.
better start studying and get good results. final year already! UIISHH! xoxo.

us girls who were dancing the chinese-fan-dance. they listed us as "sexy dance"
in the timetable that night. te fak LOL. :) oh speaking of the chinese fan,
mine umm, came apart and we had to use string to tie it back together.
it happened like 5 minutes before the performance. not only that,
one member forgot to bring her outfit, cherry forgot the disc and so on. omg.
so many things happened. and to top the ending, Kixx got fined. RM150!
soi soi soi. but i guess everything went okay after that? nah. -.-
