Borneo Street Dance Competition 2011

helloo bloggers! Remember that i mentioned the Borneo Street Dance competition?

well, it was held yesterdayy :D *pic of stage by Linus*

Linus, Sam, Nai Thong, Dylan and my family. thanks so much guys. :)

and to the rest who said they would come, screw you. it meant alot to me.

even the people who are not thaat close to me came. pffts. so much for support.

the hell, you guys didnt even text me at all. !@#$%^&^%$#$%((()(*&$^$!@

anyways, i shall not spoil  my mood. just saying my mind. 

now, flashback a few nights before the competition! *drumrolls and magic wands*

Last Friday night we practiced at the studio and went to Spring for

stage rehearsal. and omg, we were shocked to see the stage ROUND,

only HALF-wooded and BIG decorative ornament on it. aduhai. *above pic*

we drew second. which means we had to compete 2nd outta 17 groups?

which i thought was a good thing. we didnt have to wait for too long.

we rehearsed till almost midnight.and i got lost trying to find a way out of spring.

-.-"every pathway i took was blocked with the shutter thingy. -.-

On Saturday we had a little trouble with the costume ripping :/

and we practised till midnight. and the next morning before competition too :O

can you imagine how beat out we were already? oh gosh.

we met back at the studio at 11.30 and did our make up and final touches.

then boom, spring it was.

i could feel that chill running up my spine. i prayed so hard LOL.

the crowd went wild when we did that and they screamed so loud,

i honestly could not hear the music at all. haha. thats a GOOD thing! :D

 so did we win? *drumrolls* no. we didnt win.
we even knew the results before they were announced.

we got certificates though. but still. what a disappointment.
instead of staying back later for photoshoot we all just went off. no point

we sacrificed time, energy, sweat, cuts, bruises, pains, money and more.

for this competition. We were all kinda pissed though. 

it was not really a fair judgement. We could have gotten at least 3rd place.

we were so sure of it. and yet they gave it all to the guy groups and

crews whose names were much for popular in society nowadays.

If that was the point you might as well judge us on our crew names
and not our dancing. i mean, come on man. 

i just wish you guys could have been more fair. but whatever,

we did our best and we gained experience. One day, we'll be back.

Worship The King 2011. worship seminar.

soo holidays huh? mum planned it for me already. sighh. :/

attended this worship the king 2011 seminar :)

from the 31st August to 1st September 2011. its an annual thing.

it was good. we had workshops and stuffs. what workshops?

workshops for back-up singers, worship leaders, pianists, drummers, guitarists 

and sound system people. i joined the piano workshop. (Y)

it was so good it made me miss playing the piano. :) *sighh*

all workshops were done in day 1 of the seminar. went earlier for breakfast 

and to help for the registering stuffs. damn i was busy for a while then :)

went stapling leaflets and such too. first time for so long involved again.

*i sure wish i was appreciated for my effort though. asdfghjkl*

but nooooo, that woman is such a good person she knows how to make you 

feel left out and unwanted and unneeded. for that, idgad aymore.

some much for being a leader in church. hypocrite.

ANYWAYYY, i enjoyed it. although for some parts which were just ishh.

like the fight with my mum and that woman with her issues.

people who came all the way from different kampungs and such to join.

many last minute joins too! :)

4S3 Class Party! :D

helllo hello blogger! time for updates! :D

went to Bibi K.'s house last Thursday for class party!

why? cause we won 1st place in the choir competition! :D (Y)

thanks to her we get to use he house for it. thank youu!

it was okayy. just some not cooperative so not really fun.

but it was okayy :)

Inter-class Choir competition.

hellooo! so, we had to join this choir competition? between classes.

im from 4 science 3 by the wayy! :D

and yeahh. at first it was a forced thing. if not, i lose 40% for my Sivik kays?

not important but hell, that's alot of marks :O so yeahhh. joined :/

it had to be a max of 7min, and the theme was One Malaysia.

our class combined Gemilang by J.V, Tanggal 31 and Satu Malaysia :)

Conductress was Gabby. and we took it simple. :3

it didnt turn out to be that bad. after Gabby took over that is. *no offence.

so yeahh, lots of conflicts and stuff happen. even on that day itself too.

so yeah. but we made it through by God's grace and everyones determination.

we got pushed down, critized, looked-down upon and so on. but..

guess what? we have your minds all simply blown. thats right,

WE GOT FIRST PLACE, BABYYYY! (Y)

seee! simple is the best. no formation, no music playing, just our voices.

and our determination to show everyone wrong. 

we're not the worse class like whatever you teachers say. hows that? :)

no kidding. even our class teacher told us we couldnt do it. :))

we're gonna have to perform again though for Merdeka Day.

ohh and congrats to 4s2 for getting 2nd place and 4s6 for getting 3rd!

Kuching Fest and Dance moments :)

Kuching Fest 2011 is here! like fnally :)

so yeahh. alot of food stalls, games and the most awaited pirate ship!

look at the crowd of people! *i do not own these pics. i googled them*

the garden show was beautiful. set of greenaries all around. 

best place for a date, time with family or just to chill out as it's cooler here.

lucky for me whenever i go to Kuching Fest, its never rained! (Y)

amongst all the foods, i prefer this the most! :D

mind me, there were other foods too :)

OH YEAHH, i wanted to try the fried durian BUT..

it was just about 8pm plus when it's sold out like wtff?

its no wonder whyy too. look at the crowd lining up for their share -.-

there were stalls such as these too, its almost close to impossible to win 

the prizes. nevertheless, my bros couldn resist the challenge :O :)

i got on it with a few friends. damn it was fun but scary at the same time! :)

while it was going down in full speed, the safety thing sudd came off.

i panicked -.- like seriously. im like tefakkk, *grabs on for life*

what a night. what a festival :) next, details on my performance there!

i performed with Street Shock Dance Crew :)

had to learn 3 dances in like, two nights :O haha. late night practices!

managed to pull through. many mistakes. could have done better :(

but oh wells. you learn from mistakes.

danced as back-up dancers to singers on the stage :)  

many last minute changes too. anyways, we danced on the first day!

i went home really late cause of practice. then, i had to go for another prac the

next dayy and rehearsal after that at the stage. sweated tons.
